Hello, Supporters & Business Owners!

I am Holland Gerrald, a mountain climber from Texarkana, Texas looking to reach greater heights and to continue makingan impact in my community.  In doing so, I am looking for sponsorships to make my newest venture come to life!
 

In January 2025, I am planning to ascend Aconcagua in Argentina, the tallest mountain in the Western Hemisphere and the tallest mountain outside of the of 8,000 meter mountains in Asia, with hopes to summit at 22,837 feet-6,959 meters).  Though Aconcagua will be an extremely tough feat, it will also be my first charity climb.  As I have raised approximately $20,000 through my business, Company Dance, for the Foundation at our Christus St. Michael Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) in Texarkana, Texas, I am hoping to continue this tradition through my personal pursuits and goals.   

 

As an avid adventurer, my respect and admiration for the world’s tallest mountains continues

to reel me in. Mount Mazinga, an extinct volcano in St. Eustatius, was my first ascent and my

first true experience of an adventure and a traveler. Since that time in 2007, I have continued to adventure and have continued to climb to higher peaks; most recently, summiting Mount

Kilimanjaro in Tanzania at 19,341 feet (5,895 meters), the tallest mountain in Africa, a wonder

of the world and one of the “seven summits.”

 

Being a life-long resident of Texarkana and a small business owner for twenty years, I am also a mom, raising my two children and making big plans for our future. I graduated from Texarkana College with three associate degrees, Texas A&M-Texarkana with a Bachelors in History and I am currently enrolled at Texas A&M-Texarkana completing my Masters in History.

 

As I am ecstatic about this next climb, I am seeking sponsorships to assist in the costs.  Aconcagua expenses surpass all previous climbs and I will not be able to conquer this mountain alone. It will take a team to get me to the summit and to raise additional funds for the NICU.

 

With your help I believe a mutually beneficial relationship can be obtained, as well as a common genuine, worldly connection.  Your company will benefit by receiving advertisement based on specific sponsorship tiers or by sponsoring a specific need for the trip.  The tiers and needs/expenses are broken down in detail on page two of this letter.
